The NEW 'WHITE LIGHT CERAMICS' Gallery is 'OPEN'

Hi folks and 'Happy October'.

I have a question for you.......

DO YOU LIVE IN CHESHIRE?

If the answer is 'yes' then I have some fantastic news for you.

The NEW 'WHITE LIGHT CERAMICS' gallery is now officially OPEN!

WHITE LIGHT CERAMICS is a ceramics shop and studio based in Middlewich, Cheshire and is owned by the very talented and creative Rebecca Louise Broad. Rebecca uses a combination of porcelain and black clays and strives to push the boundaries of the material while still retaining the wonderful tactile qualities that the clay has to offer. Rebecca specialises in bespoke work, from large scale wall pieces and sculptures to dinner sets and vases.

SO WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT AND WHAT HAS IT GOT TO DO WITH DUNNKNIT DESIGNS?

A little while ago now Rebecca contacted me to ask if I would like to showcase some of my work alongside a few other selected artists and makers in her new gallery that she was opening. WOW! This was an absolute 'no brainer'. I went along to meet Rebecca and what a roller coaster it's been. Firstly, Rebecca's work is stunning and so is her new gallery. What an opportunity for little old me to showcase some of my work in such a beautiful space.

And so the work began. There's nothing like working to a deadline to keep you focussed that's for sure!

The Gallery was officially opened by Cllr Bill Walmsley (Deputy Major of Middlewich) on Friday evening 5th October and the launch party was absolutely fabulous!

The work being displayed is simply stunning and the best bit is that it's all for sale.

SO WHO ARE ALL OF THESE TALENTED ARTISTS AND MAKERS AND WHAT DO THEY DO?

Of course the main lady herself is REBECCA BROAD - 'WHITE LIGHT CERAMICS'

(I love Rebecca's mugs but her new candle collaborations with Donna Colan are absolutely beautiful)
